Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says the event includes workshops, information sessions, live music and more, but he enjoys the discussions.

A delegation from Corner Brook city council is getting ready for the biggest gathering of the year through Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador. The MNL 2023 Conference, Trade Show and AGM is taking place in downtown St. John’s October 25th to the 28th. Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says the event includes workshops, information sessions, live music and more, but he enjoys the discussions. He says being a part of a collected voice makes you feel like you’re not alone when tackling the big issues like housing. MNL will be recognizing longest-serving members at the evening gala, where the Department of Municipal and Provincial Affairs will present its Long Service Awards.
