Corner Brook city transit is growing in ridership and revenue, update given at last night's council meeting

    Councillor Charles Pender says over a million dollars in funding has been received to support transit improvements.

    At last night’s regular public meeting, Corner Brook Councillor Charles Pender gave an update on the city’s transit system. He says the latest report identifies key accomplishments, funding sources, and the continued growth in ridership and this positive momentum reflects the dedicated efforts of City staff, Council, Buckles Bussing, and the valuable input from the public and the City's Accessibility Committee. Pender says over a million dollars in funding has been received to support transit improvements. The city remains committed to making Corner Brook more inclusive and accessible for all residents.
