Meetings started last night and will continue for the next two to three nights.
Corner Brook city council and staff are busy this week setting the foundation for a budget that will lead the city for the next four years. Meetings started last night and will continue for the next two to three nights and the budget will be presented at the next public meeting on December 15th. Mayor Linda Chaisson tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit she’s sat through 17 budgets as a council member so far and feels this is the best yet. She says after the recent townhall discussion on budget, the city has received a number of emails on what people would like to see included. Corner Brook residents will hear the budget during the next public council meeting on December 15th.
