Corner Brook city hall open to the public tonight for budget talk, have a say in how taxes are spent

    It will be held in the Hutchings Room on the second floor and everyone is invited.

    Corner Brook residents get a chance tonight to have a say in how tax dollars are spent. Calling it a “crucial Public Consultation for the 2026 Municipal Budget,’ the city of Corner Brook is opening city hall tonight at 7 o’clock. It will be held in the Hutchings Room on the second floor and everyone is invited. Budget decisions affect daily life with services like  infrastructure, water and wastewater, and recreation to long-term planning. The 2026 budget will set the direction for Corner Brook and residents for the next four years.
