The city of Corner Brook held a public consultation on the budget Monday night and council was impressed with the level of respectfulness. Council is getting ready to bring down the 2026 budget on December 8th during the regular public meeting. Monday’s meeting lasted for about two and a half hours. Luther says while they can’t solve everything the city has a role to help by advocating with groups. Council will meet to discuss the budget for three days starting November 25th.
