It’ll be shovels in the ground for six new one bedroom NL Housing Corporation units in Corner Brook within the next few weeks. Yesterday, government announced they minimized the tender and Brook Construction received the $2.6 million contract. While Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says he can’t understand why there wasn’t a bidder but the commitment is for 50 units.
