Linda Chaisson says another suggestion was to update the city’s website to be more “friendly” for businesses and development.
Corner Brook council held its first in a series of town hall meetings last week and the theme was “Business.” While these meetings are themed, everyone is welcome to attend. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Linda Chaisson says there were lots of suggestions. She says residents wanting development had roadblocks like long time permitting and cumbersome with lots to do
Chaisson says another suggestion was to update the city’s website to be more “friendly” for businesses and development. She says people also asked about forming a Business Advisory Committee, which will include councilors, staff, residents, and business owners, as well as only one city planner. Chaisson says another discussion included parking and enforcement on West Street.
