The city’s Director of Engineering Donny Burden says bulk waste left out at this point will not be picked up by garbage collectors.

Before Monday night’s meeting started, Corner Brook Deputy Mayor Linda Chaisson asked about spring cleanup. Saturday was the last day residents could drop bulk waste off at the Wilcove landfill site without having to pay a fee. Chaisson says she’s still seeing a lot of waste on lawns that has not been picked up. The city’s Director of Engineering Donny Burden says bulk waste left out at this point will not be picked up by garbage collectors. He says the city will not be contacting those with bulk garbage still at the curb.
