It’s a month earlier than last year, but some people have been waxing the skis to get ready for tomorrow’s opening day at Blow me Down Ski Trails. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Shawn Leamon called in from the groomer to talk about plans for the day, mainly fixing up a few damp spots for tomorrow’s 9 a.m. opening. He says it was mid-January last year before things got going on the trails. Leamon says they’ll be hosting races on January 3rd and 4th for selection of their provincial cross country ski team.
