Parsons says people are working harder than ever before and getting less in return and it doesn’t have to be this way.

As Bayfm continues our daily features with the five candidates running in the Long Range Mountains, this morning we feature the New Democratic Party candidate  Sarah Parsons. She says prices are high, jobs are less, and  the threat of Trump’s economic threats could make things worse for us. Parsons says people are working harder than ever before and getting less in return and it doesn’t have to be this way. Parsons says healthcare and the cost of living are major concerns in the riding, vowing to fight for healthcare workers and a cap on grocery costs.

Parsons says the leader of the NDP has accomplished so much for Canadians, and that Jagmeet Singh has delivered so much for Canadians. This includes dental care and pharmacare.

Parsons says she knows firsthand the struggles of everyday people and believes in ensuring that healthcare, education, childcare, and fair wages are accessible to all. She says it’s time to build more homes and make life more affordable again.

Parsons believes deep roots in the region are important , she’s spent her life volunteering, working, and giving back to her community. As a single mother, union member, and community leader, she says she is ready to stand up for neighbors and be a strong voice for change. Parsons says there is another choice…the NDP is there for you.
