    Bay St George RCMP arrested wanted man, 25 year old Jonathan Burke of Stephenville

    Burke had been evading police since June 28th when RCMP conducted a traffic stop in Stephenville and recognized Burke as an occupant of the vehicle.

    Bay St George RCMP have arrested a man who has been wanted since July 2nd. Police have arrested  25-year-old Jonathan Burke of Stephenville who was wanted for breaches of a court order. Burke had been evading police since June 28th when RCMP conducted a traffic stop in Stephenville and recognized Burke as an occupant of the vehicle. Burke fled from police on foot and was not located.
