The driver, Muise, exited the vehicle and fled into the nearby woods on foot. While Police Dog Services were on their way to the scene, Muise left the woods and was detained by police. He attempted to flee a second time, and was taken into custody after a short struggle with police. Muise has been charged with dangerous operation, flight from police, resisting arrest and reach of release order – two counts. The investigation is continuing.
