Mayor Park says the patching work they have done is shameful.
Another tire and rim have become the latest victims of potholes in Lark Harbour. The south shore community in the Bay of Islands is a popular tourist attraction, especially for the sunsets in Bottle Cove. Lark Harbour Mayor Wade Park says he’s been getting numerous calls from residents. “This morning I had a call from one resident who showed me his tire and rim, both destroyed,” he says. “The pothole he struck has been there for over a year and still no solution.”
Mayor Park says the patching work they have done is shameful. “I have made numerous calls to DOT to come and fix it and it’s frustrating for us. I pity the people who have to put up with this.” Bayfm has been trying to reach the Transportation Minister about the issue.
