An update on government services delivery; MyGovNL now has more than 400,000 users

    As a way to continue to improve service delivery, artificial intelligence (AI) can offer the potential to create a more efficient and effective public sector.

    Government has given an update on the delivery of services to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. MyGovNL now has more than 400,000 registered users and, along with MyHealth NL, the Early Learning Gateway, and our Wildlife Information Management System, there are now many more licensing and permitting functions online. As a way to continue to improve service delivery, artificial intelligence (AI) can offer the potential to create a more efficient and effective public sector. Government recently introduced the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence Technology Policy, and AI training for all government employees, while trying AI technologies.
