People in Corner Brook this weekend have the chance to see honey being extracted, a chef demonstration, a sheep being sheared and the wool spun, or they can pick up a dozen fresh locally farmed eggs for just $3 each. Opening ceremonies for the Agriculture Expo 2025 get underway 7 o’clock tonight at the Corner Brook Civic Centre. Coordinator Krista Wright there are 16 local farmers showcasing their products at different market booths.

The Animal Farm will consist of baby goats, a calf, bunnies and pigs and is provided by Robbins Family Farm in Deer Lake. Wright says the Agriculture in the Classroom is hosting a Family Fun Night starting 4 o’clock this afternoon. Admission to the Agriculture Expo is free but donations are being accepted for 4-H groups in NL.
