A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision on the Trans Canada Highway near Pinchgut Lake. Cpl Jolene Garland says Corner Brook RCMP were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening. She says it involved a pickup truck towing a trailer, a transport truck and a DRL bus. The man was driving the pick up truck. Garland says the collision is still under investigation and no one else was injured in the crash.
The highway was completely shut down late into Sunday night as a result of the collision.
