A group of lifelong Anglicans at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Corner Brook are expressing deep disappointment and growing alarm. This after a misconduct investigation led by the Anglican’s own Safe Church Officer, Jack Walsworth. The 129-page report involved thousands of hours of interviews, outlined serious findings of misconduct. It recommended the reinstatement of Ms. Kay Short who was fired by Bishop John Organ. That was due to happen by June 30th and Organ was ordered to take a leave until his retirement in October. Also, he is continuing as Bishop. The group wants Organ held publicly accountable for his defiance of the directives and his history of abusive behaviour.
