Her strong work ethic was evident in her commitment to the community through her work at City Hall and numerous volunteer groups.
A funeral service will be held in St. John’s today for the late Marina Redmond who devoted a career to helping Corner Brook.
She passed away on July 14th, leaving behind her lifelong partner Paul and children Michael and Emma. After completing her education, Marina moved to Corner Brook which became her home. Her strong work ethic was evident in her commitment to the community through her work at City Hall and numerous volunteer groups. From here, her love for the outdoors in Western Newfoundland grew stronger. Marina was a genuine, hardworking, fun, loving person deeply devoted to her family. She loved playing ball sports of all kinds, time spent with family and friends, as well as enjoying the simple things life had to offer. Many good times were spent enjoying the outdoors throughout Newfoundland, and Gros Morne National Park held a special place in her heart. Funeral services will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will be held at the Corner Brook Civic Centre, Meeting Rooms (next to the Box Office Lobby) from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Monday, July 24.
