911 was unavailable early this morning

    A news release issued by the RNC shortly before 4 a.m. said the 911 outage was affecting the whole province.

    Callers to 911 early this morning might have not been able to get through. A news release issued by the RNC shortly before 4 a.m. said the 911 outage was affecting the whole province. Shortly before 5 o’clock this morning, emergency contact numbers in Newfoundland and Labrador, including 911, were restored.
