Officers quickly contained a home and as a result 78-year-old Arthur Parsons was arrested without incident and the shelter-in-place was lifted.
A 78-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in McIvers yesterday. The RNC were called to a home on Lower Cove Road in the north shore community. Police say a firearm had been discharged multiple times and as a result, a shelter-in-place was initiated for public safety. There were no injuries reported.
