It was 75 years ago that the first Municipalities Newfoundland Labrador conference was held and it took place here in Corner Brook. And for their 75th anniversary, they’re bringing the event back to Corner Brook. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Linda Chaisson says it was held at the former “White House,” or the building that housed the Western Star. The MNL Conference is set for November 19th-22nd and Chaisson says the agenda is jam packed and can bring upwards of $3 million to the local economy with 600 participants. Chaisson says the trade show will bring a lot of the newest technology on the market.
