Carnival committee member Jennifer Elms tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit, they never expected to have so many people attend last year and it was mind blowing.
It was such a success for its first year that it’s back again this year for Corner Brook Winter Carnival. The 2nd annual Multicultural Food and Craft Fair will take place 2-6pm tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion. Carnival committee member Jennifer Elms tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit, they never expected to have so many people attend last year and it was mind blowing. Elms says we have such a diverse community of newcomers in Corner Brook, events like this help promote who we are and invigorate all your senses. The event will feature food samples from India, Uganda, NL, Mexico, Ukraine, Philippines and so much more. Last year’s event sold out in record time and admission is free with a carnival button.
