A 27-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbance in Corner Brook. The RNC say shortly after noon on Wednesday (June 11), police were called to a disturbance on O’Connell Drive, near Margaret Bowater Park. The man had presented a weapon after approaching a woman operating a vehicle in the area. Patrol officers also determined that the same man caused damage to the same vehicle earlier in the day. He’s charged with assault with a weapon and mischief by causing property damage.
