A group of twenty four young people ages 17-18 graduated today after the RCMP NL Youth Summer Camp. Participants have toured RCMP facilities, taken part in drill exercises and experienced the possibility of a career in policing. Proactive Recruiter Corporal Peter Gosse says this is the second annual camp and youth came from all over the island, including the west coast. He says the camp provides an opportunity for young people to get first hand exposure to being a police officer.
