Donald Brasheer played with five different organizations in the NHL as an enforcer during his 16-year career and he will be at the home opener when the Corner Brook Royals lace up for another season of Senior Hockey. Team spokesperson Andrew Stagg says this was discussed throughout the summer and having Brashear with the team will put a lot of bodies in the seats at the stadium. |
There’s an open skate at the Corner Brook Civic Centre starting 7:30 tomorrow night, after which officials will work to create a 30-man roster for the team. Stagg says the Royals had a great season last year but didn’t come through during the playoffs and that makes a lot of the team want to come back for another shot at it. The Corner Brook Royals Home opener is November 8th, 7:30 at the Civic Centre.
