Tree Party Fairy Door Workshop

Want to make a fairy door for Tree Party 2024? Join local artist Jackie Alcock as she leads this workshop for all ages. We'll have supplies on hand, but please feel free to bring any old buttons, drawer pulls, dowling or other craft items that you would like to use in your door. Remember these doors will be placed outside so make sure your items are weather resistant.

Decorate your fairy door and see it installed on Fairy Lane at Blow Me Down Trails on July 27th.

Tree Party is a family-friendly, cultural extravaganza in partnership with Blow Me Down Trails and the City of Corner Brook's Jigs & Wheels Festival. Inspired by the myths, history, art, songs and legends that have drawn their inspiration from the woods, this event will incorporate music performances, fairy fun and forest activities for all ages, sword demonstrations, art installations, historical exhibits, a Bigfoot scavenger hunt, an outdoor market, interactive forest walks and more. This is an opportunity to bring the community together to celebrate the magic of nature, the power of community and the joy of music and art.
