The Newfoundland and Labrador Laubach Literacy Council (NLLLC) proudly recognizes Maureen Kennedy's impressive 35-plus years of dedicated volunteer service. She has been named the first distinguished recipient of the NLLLC Literacy Legacy Award, a new honor established to recognize future volunteers who demonstrate an extraordinary and lasting commitment to literacy development across the province.
A resident of Massey Drive, Maureen Kennedy has been a notable advocate for literacy throughout Newfoundland and Labrador since the late 1980s. She dropped by Bay Fm for a chat with Dean Clarke.
