Jim has a new double-disc collection out this August 14 — Midnight Gypsy Fire — pulling together thirty years of his music, from the Gypsy years through Midnight Rover and Friendly Fire. He's also just released the first music video of his career, an animated one for "Downtown Girl," a song he wrote 31 years ago — it's had a lovely response since it went up July 17. He spoke by phone with Dean Clarke on "Sunday Scoffs and Scuffs".
